Qingsong Wang (S’14-M’17-SM’17), Ph.D of Electrical Engineering, Associate Professor (exceptional promotion), Ph.D Tutor, IEEE Senior Member, Senior Member of China Power Supply Society, Senior Member of China Electrotechnical Society, Member of youth Working Committee of the 8th and 9th Council of China Electrotechnical Society.

He received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from Zhejiang University and the Ph.D. degree from Southeast University. During this period, he went to Aalborg University in Denmark for joint training for one year. Prior to his Ph.D, he worked in the industry for more than five years, mainly engaged in the development of electronic ballasts, frequency converters and other products, and was given accelerated promotion to Senior Engineer in 2010. He became a lecturer of the university in 2017 and became a master supervisor in 2019. In 2020, he was promoted to an associate professor and became a doctoral supervisor in 2021. The main research direction includes: electric springs, energy storage, power electronic converters, new energy grids, etc.

He has presided over 2 general projects of The National Natural Science Foundation of China, 1 youth project of The Natural Science Foundation of Jiangsu Province, and participated in 5 other projects above the provincial and ministerial level.

Guided the master students to win the 2021 Outstanding Master and 2019 National Scholarship; Guided students to participate in the 12th National College Students Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction Social Practice and Science and Technology Competition and won the national third prize; Guided students to participate in the 14th China Graduate Electronic Design Competition and won the second prize in East China Region.

He is have published more than 30 SCI/EI indexed papers as the first or corresponding author in IEEE Transactions on Power Electronics, IEEE Transactions on Industrial in Electronics, Proceedings of the CSEE and other domestic and foreign academic journals (including more than 20 papers included in SCI by the first author, including 1 paper with high ESI citation and 3 papers with good performance), and 11 national invention patents have been authorized. He is the chairman of IPEMC2020-ECCE Asia, an international academic conference in this field, and a reviewer of several academic journals at home and abroad.
