
Zhongze Wu received
the B.Eng. degree in electrical engineering and its automation from Southeast
University, Nanjing, China, in June 2010, where he received the M.Sc. degree in
electrical engineering in March 2013, supervised by Prof. Wei Hua. Zhongze received
the Ph.D. degree in electronic and electrical engineering from The University
of Sheffield, Sheffield, U.K., in January 2017, supervised by Prof. Zi-Qiang
Zhu.
From January
2017 to August 2018, Zhongze was with Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG),
University of Warwick, Coventry, U.K., as a research fellow in electrical
machines. From August 2018 to August 2020, he was with the Institute for
Advanced Automotive Propulsion Systems (IAAPS), Department of Mechanical
Engineering, University of Bath, Bath, U.K., as a Prize Fellow, where he was a
Lecturer between August 2020 and January 2021.
Since March
2021, Zhongze has been with School of Electrical Engineering, Southeast
University, Nanjing, China. His major research interests include the advanced
electrical machines and drives for electric propulsion systems. He is currently
principal investigator (PI) of the National Natural Science Foundation of China
(NSFC) grant 52107037, and the Natural Science Foundation of Jiangsu Province
(NSFJP) grant BK20210242.
Zhongze is
serving as an associated editor for IET Electric Power Applications and Alexandria
Engineering Journal. He served as the reviewer for National Research Foundation
of South Africa (NRF), and the External Examiner for PhD thesis of University
of Sussex, U.K.
