Dr. ZHANG Gan was born in Shandong province. He received the M. Eng. degree and Ph. D. degree from Southeast University, Nanjing, China, in 2011 and 2016, respectively. From 2015 to 2016, he worked in Aalborg University as a visiting researcher. He is an IEEE member, and also the Area chair of R10-East Asia, Student Branch Chapters, IEEE IAS. He is currently a lecturer with the School of Electrical Engineering, Southeast University. His research interests include the analysis and design of novel permanent magnet machines, electric/hybrid electric vehicles, and wind power generation.
